Following water damage in the troop kitchen in Lebach, all rooms belonging to the kitchen (cooking kitchen, scullery, cold rooms and ancillary rooms) must be renovated.

in the barracks service building, which was completed in 2004, had to be cleared and renovated.
The building is detached. The troop kitchen is located on the 1st floor.
The barracks are a restricted military area and can only be entered with authorization.

During the construction work, a temporary food counter will be operated in separately accessible parts of the building on the first floor.

For this reason, the site facilities required for construction operations and waste disposal must be planned, prepared and coordinated with particular care.
The refurbishment affects the entire upper floor (except the dining hall).

This is because new pipes and installations must also be installed under the ceiling on the second floor,

ceilings on the first floor must also be dismantled.
