Description
The subject of the contract is the delivery - including assembly - of furniture and furnishings for the 4-group municipal day care center Schwanenstraße. The place of performance for delivery and assembly is Schwanenstraße 94, 42697 Solingen. The scope of services owed includes the professional disposal of the packaging material. Costs incurred in this connection shall be borne exclusively by the contractor.
The generally applicable safety regulations for day care centers, in particular the accident prevention regulations for day care centers of the statutory accident insurance (Sichere Kita), must be complied with. As part of a Group-wide procurement strategy, the client pursues the goal of procuring products with a particular focus on sustainability. The raw wood used in wood products (including paper and cardboard) must demonstrably originate from legal and sustainable forest management. Proof must be provided by the tenderer by submitting a certificate from the PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes), the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) or equivalent seals, certificates or evidence, such as technical documentation from the manufacturer or test reports from recognized bodies. The Blue Angel RAL UZ 38 or equivalent certificates must also be provided.
Further product requirements:

- The manufacturer of the furniture offered must provide evidence of an ISO 14001 environmental management system and an ISO 50001 energy management system

- At least 5 years guarantee
- For items with approximate dimensions, items that deviate up to 5% from the specified dimensions are permitted.
The items offered must be clearly named. Catalogs, product data sheets, etc. that enable a clear assessment of the products must be enclosed. The client reserves the right to request samples. The client shall set a reasonable deadline of a maximum of 10 days for sampling, during which the requested samples must be available at the sampling location (administration building Bonner Straße 100, 42697 Solingen). If one or more samples are not made available or not made available on time within the deadline set, the tender will be excluded from the evaluation. The client will not bear the costs of sampling.

The delivery and assembly of the furniture and furnishings must be carried out in week 29 in 2025 or as agreed with the client.
