The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is F3W3429206AW03 and shall be used to reference any written responses to this source sought.
Spangdahlem Air Force Base does not anticipate utilizing a small business set-aside. However, the applicable North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code proposed is 335312.
The requirement is to provide: Frequency Converter (1 EA);
shipped to Spangdahlem AB, Germany 54529
Salient Characteristics: This converter will be utilized outside and will be exposed to the elements. Must be all-in-one unit that converts power voltage and electrical frequency. Input power is 400 volts, 3-phase, and 50 hertz. Output will be 208 volt, 3-phase, 60 hertz and must have 200-amps output. On the input side, there shall be 5 cable terminals to receive commercial power with the capability to connect a 50 square millimeter cable. On the output side, there shall be 5 cable terminals capable of connecting a 120 square millimeter cable.

What is the purpose of the item(s)? This item will be utilized to convert local power sources (European) into U.S. specifications to power portable container units.
We are interested in any size business that is capable of meeting this requirement.
Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for the requirement.
All interested firms shall submit a brief-capabilities package that explicitly demonstrates company capabilities-indicating examples of commercial sales-and product specifications related to this effort. Also indicate if you are the manufacturer, or provide the name and size of the manufacturer of the product(s) you will be supplying. Respondents are further requested to indicate their status as a Foreign-owned/foreign-controlled firm and any contemplated us of foreign national employees on this effort.
