Description
Forestry and Parks of Alberta is seeking proposals from qualified Mental Health consultants. The project aims to design a comprehensive Mental Health Program for the Forestry Division to be implemented by March 31, 2026. This program will support the mental well-being of employees, particularly those involved in wildfire operations, ensuring they have access to necessary mental health services both in the field and remotely.
The successful proponent is expected to develop a Mental Health program that provides services to employees in the following key locations:
• Forest Areas across the province (10 areas),
• Hinton Training Centre (HTC),
• Alberta Tree Improvement Seed Centre (ATISC) located in Smoky Lake,
• Provincial Warehouse - Wildfire Telecommunications and Facilities (PWTF) located in Edmonton,
• Staff located in the J. G. O'Donoghue Building (JGO) including the Alberta Wildfire Coordination Centre (AWCC) and;
• Temporary fire camps located throughout Alberta.
• Remote services via phone and online platforms as required.
