Description

The Rocky Mountain House to Nordegg Rail Trail project began in 2008 to create a multi-use trail system covering approximately 100 km between Rocky Mountain House and Nordegg.

Alberta Parks is seeking construction services to construct Phase 3 of the Rail Trail from Bakers Road (near Sunset Creek) to Chambers Creek. The work will include multi-purpose trail clearing and construction along an abandoned rail bed, and in sections of undisturbed forest. The trail is approximately 32 km long and will include the construction of bridge abutments and culverts, and bridge installation for 15 water crossings. A staging area off East Chambers Creek road will also be developed.
