Description
The City of Albuquerque is to soliciting proposals from qualified non-profit organizations interested in providing/implementing Forensic Assertive Community Treatment (FACT) services for residents of Bernalillo County with serious mental illness (SMI) who are involved with the criminal justice system. FACT is designed to increase behavioral health stability and public safety by improving clients’ mental health outcome and daily functioning; reduce recidivism by addressing criminogenic risks and needs; divert individuals in need of treatment away from the criminal justice system. Its intent is also to manage costs by reducing reoccurring arrests, incarceration and hospitalizations.
