Our partner is liasising with a UAE based leading food services distributor and offering an opportunity for UK food suppliers to meet and supply the distributor and several Dubai chefs from well-known major hotel groups based in the UAE. The meeting will take place in the UK. 

In a recent Trade Barometer survey, the UAE featured as the fifth top growth market this year, highlighting the strong appetite by UK based companies to do business in the region. Tourism continues to be strong in the UAE, with high volumes of food supply needed for more than 1,100 hotels and almost 200,000 hotel rooms. At the end of 2022, Dubai was reported to have more restaurants per capita than New York and is continuing to grow, as well as new hotels being built across the Emirates to cater for new projects and the continuing rise in tourism.

In collaboration with a leading UAE food services distributor, our partner is giving UK businesses the opportunity to meet with chefs from some of the UAE’s leading hotel groups and showcase your product(s). The event will also include tasting sessions with the chefs, opening up the potential to supply the region.

Some of the major hotel groups in the region include Jumeriah Group, Marriott Group, The Atlantis Palm and Hyatt group. You will also have the chance to meet with providers who can assist you in your end to end export journey including customs, regulation, and supply chain.

This event is open to UK food manufacturers, producers, and suppliers within the following categories:

• Dairy, including cheeses -cheddar, stilton - creams
• Ambient
  • Stocks, bouillons, and sauces
  • Bulk condiments
