Description

Flughafen Stuttgart GmbH intends to make structural changes to the Skyoffice office building. The Skyoffice office building has been part of Stuttgart Airport City since 1999. The building is divided into a total of five office floors and two technical floors. In addition to its use as an office and administration building, the building also houses customs and police offices (Stuttgart Airport police station). The building is to be modernized in terms of energy efficiency and the fire protection is to be renovated to meet current requirements. In the course of this, a section-by-section refurbishment of all usage units will be carried out (if necessary with room section adjustments). An energy-efficient refurbishment of the façade on levels 4 to 6 with replacement of the glazing and optimization of the MSR and TGA systems is also planned. In order to implement the measures, the existing tenants will have to relocate temporarily within the building to alternative space provided for this purpose. The IT equipment and infrastructure is to be implemented in the interim spaces, in close coordination with the user and client. The interventions in the fire protection justify a subsequent amendment of the building law.
