Description

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), En Route Construction Branch (AAQ-540) has a need to replace fire alarm/fire life safety systems in the MCI Air Traffic Control Tower in Kansas City, Missouri. 
This project is set aside for full and open competition (unrestricted set aside).
The esimtated construction magnitude for this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. See attached Request for Offers (RFO) package for details. 
A one-time site visit is scheduled for Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at 8:00 AM Central Time. Site visit attendees will meet with Ms. Nancy Jimenez at the Air Traffic Control Tower gate at MCI International Airport. The tower address is 4 International Square, Kansas City, MO. 64153. Please have valid picture identification ready for inspection upon arrival.
Site visit attendees shall pre-announce their intent to inspect the site no later than noon Pacific Time on Friday, August 30, 2024. Prospective offerors shall email the names of all site visit attendees to mark.salum@faa.gov.
Time on Monday, September 9, 2024. Responses to RFIs will be provided in writing via solicitation amendment only. No RFIs will be answered during the site visit.
Offers are due no later than noon Pacofoc Time on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. All offers shall be sent to mark.salum@faa.gov.
NOTE: ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST HAVE A TOTAL FILE SIZE OF LESS THAN 10MB. EMAILS CONTAINING MORE THAN 10MB OF ATTACHMENTS WILL BE REJECTED BY FAA'S EMAIL SYSTEM. OFFERORS MAY SUBMIT MULTIPLE EMAILS IF FILES SIZES WILL EXCEED 10MB IN TOTAL.
