Description

This contract covers thermal insulation work on a building occupied by the Haute Tarentaise sector of the Vanoise National Park.
The building, located in the commune of Bourg Saint Maurice, houses offices, a workshop and equipment storage.
The building, with its concrete walls and accessible roof terraces, dates from the 1970s. Its walls and roofs lack effective thermal insulation. The woodwork was replaced around ten years ago. The premises are heated by a wood pellet boiler via water radiators.
The planned work involves insulating the façades from the outside (around 280 m²), as well as the existing flat roofs (150 m²), and restoring their waterproofing.
For lot no. 1 (terrace roof insulation), two options will also have to be costed: under-slab insulation of the first floor and painting of the metal railings.
With regard to the type of insulation to be used on the facades (lot no. 2), in addition to the basic bid (XPS insulation), two (compulsory) variants (wood fiber and rock wool) must be included in the companies' bids.
The replacement of 2 joineries is also included in lot no. 3.
Work is scheduled to start in April 2025, and is expected to last 5 weeks.
