Description
2024-077 Vegreville Composite - Electrical Distribution Replacement
Scope of Work:
.1 Work of this Contract comprises the following:
.1 The project involves the replacement of the existing 1000A Main Distribution Panel for the
school.
.2 The removal and replacement of the 150kVA transformer in room EL1 and indicated cabling.
.3 The removal and replacement of four (4) CDPs. CDP 1D1, CDP 1D2, CDP 1D3 and CDP 3D1.
.4 The removal of the existing 112.5KVA Transformer and the installation of a new 112.5kVA
Transformer in room MEC 41, including the indicated cabling.
.5 The removal of the existing 225kVA Transformer and the installation of a new 150kVA
Transformer in room MEC 204B.
.6 Coordination will be required with ATCO Alberta for the disconnection and reconnection of
the power of the facility. Contractor must include all associated costs.
.7 Shop drawings shall be issued to the consultant for review within 3 weeks of the award of
contract.
.8 Reconnection of the existing sub panels and loads may require extension of the existing feeders. Contractor to follow Authority Having Jurisdiction requirements.
.9 Provide temporary power for the building fire alarm and security system during building
shutdown.
.10 Permits will be required to be obtained prior to March 2025.
.11 Including the Cash Allowance costs as indicated in 00 21 00 Allowances.
.12 Equipment to be delivered to site the week of June 30, 2025.
