Description

The Project Manager, CENTRE DE SERVICES SCOLAIRE DE KAMOURASKA - RIVIÈRE-DU-LOUP, having its head office at 464, rue Lafontaine, C.P. 910, Rivière-du-Loup (Québec) G5R 3Z5, is requesting tenders for the construction work on the above-mentioned project.

Tender documents can only be obtained through the SÉAO electronic tendering system (www.seao.ca or, for the Montreal region, 514 856-6600, or toll-free outside Quebec 1-866-669-7326).

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF WORK :

The work includes

- Replacement of the electric boiler;

- Replacement of the geothermal heat pump;

- Replacement of expansion tanks (heating network);

- Replacement of the building's fire alarm system equipment (detectors, chimes, wiring, etc.);

- Construction of gypsum ceiling drops;

- Architectural finish patching..,

LOCATION OF WORK :

The work will take place at École Mgr-Boucher, located at 325 avenue Chapleau, Saint-Pascal (Québec) G0L 3Y0.

RECEIPT OF BIDS :

Electronic bids may only be submitted via the Quebec government's electronic tendering system (SÉAO) at www.seao.ca.

Electronic bids must be submitted (encrypted, transmitted, time-stamped and saved on the SEAO servers) before the deadline for receipt of bids.

The public body cannot be held responsible for Internet traffic for the electronic transmission of bids. It is the bidder's responsibility to allow additional time for transmission.

Paper bids will be received at the Rivière-du-Loup point of service. Please advise us by e-mail of the date and time of submission.

Only contractors with a business office in Quebec or in a province or territory covered by current agreements and holding the required license under the Building Act are eligible to bid.

A contractor holding a restricted license issued by the Régie du bâtiment du Québec or registered in the register of companies ineligible for public contracts (RENA), and whose period of ineligibility for public contracts has not ended, is not eligible to submit a bid; these two cases of ineligibility also apply to the bidder's subcontractors.

In the case of a contract involving an expenditure equal to or greater than the amount determined by the government, the service provider must be authorized to contract by the Autorité des marchés financiers on the date the bid is submitted.

Bidders are responsible for the choice of subcontractors, both in terms of their solvency and the content of their bids, and must inform them of the conditions they intend to impose and ensure that they hold the required permits and licenses.

WORK SCHEDULE :

Work begins on Monday, May 19, 2025 and is completed by Friday, August 22, 2025.

SITE VISIT BY APPOINTMENT

A site visit will be organized by the Project Manager. This will take place on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at

9h00. If you wish to take advantage of this visit, please notify us by e-mail at resmat@csskamloup.gouv.qc.ca by 4:00 p.m. on the business day preceding the visit.

During this visit, representatives of the Project Manager will answer questions from bidders. The Centre de services scolaires de Kamouraska - Rivière-du-Loup will not be held responsible for any lack of familiarity with the site.
