NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT (NPP)
Title: Electrical Services, AAFC, Brandon Research and Development Centre
DESCRIPTION:
Agriculture and Agri Food Canada’s Brandon Research and Development Centre at 2701 Grand Valley Road, Brandon, Manitoba requires Electrical services on an “as and when requested ” basis.
This bid solicitation is to establish a contract with task authorizations (TA) for the delivery of the requirement detailed in the bid solicitation to the Identified Users.
The contract period will be for one year from the date of contract with an irrevocable option to extend it for up to three (3) additional one-year periods. The anticipated start date is November 1, 2024.
Security Requirements
There are security requirements associated with this requirement. The contractor/offeror personnel requiring access to sensitive work site(s) must each hold a valid RELIABILITY STATUS, granted or approved by AAFC.
Optional Site Visit Information
It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held on September 25, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. CDT (local Brandon time).

Mandatory Technical Requirements
Bids will be assessed in accordance with the entire requirement of the bid solicitation including the technical and financial evaluation criteria.
Basis of selection: A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract.

Canada retains the right to negotiate with any supplier on any procurement.
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
