Description

This large Indian conglomerate is looking for technology collaboration or a licencing agreement for developing electric power axle, motor battery controllers and gearboxes for their new EV subsidiary. This is focusing on the electric commercial vehicles with 2 to 55 Tonnes capacity and ranging from 15KW to 250KW. 

This company wants to speak only to the manufacturers / technology centres / R&D institutions. It will not engage with any third-party consultants or agents.

India is the world's third-largest automobile market producing a total 25 million vehicles including:

  • passenger vehicles
  • commercial vehicles
  • 3-wheelers
  • 2-wheelers
  • quadricycles

The Indian automotive industry is expected to reach £250 billion by 2026. The commercial vehicle market is targeted to reach £50.43 billion by 2029 as per the government (IBEF).
