DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENTS
The Société des traversiers du Québec invites all suppliers from the provinces and territories of the signatory governments meeting the requirements of this call for tenders to submit prices for the supply of the products indicated in the price list.
SUBJECT
The Société des traversiers du Québec wishes to purchase 5" and 6" Duplex Filters.
EQUIVALENCE
All requests for equivalence must be made before bids are submitted. To do so, the bidder must e-mail the product data sheet to the STQ representative. This request must be sent to the PUBLIC ORGANIZATION at least ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY-EIGHT (168) hours before the deadline for receipt of Bids. All requests for equivalence must include a description of the proposed property and any other relevant information. The request must be sufficiently documented for the PUBLIC BODY to be able to evaluate it. It is the responsibility of the APPLICANT to demonstrate equivalence and to comply with the process prescribed by the PUBLIC BODY for this purpose. All costs associated with the demonstration of equivalence are the responsibility of the BIDDER.
The PUBLIC ORGANIZATION will issue an Addendum to render its decision. Only equivalencies authorized by Addenda are considered by the PUBLIC ORGANIZATION when reviewing the compliance of Submissions. Any decision as to equivalence is at the sole discretion of the PUBLIC ORGANIZATION.

REQUIREMENTS
All filters must have Transport Canada approval.
They must be supplied on delivery.
The supplier must be able to supply reconditioning parts for all equipment supplied in this tender.
DELIVERY TIME
The expected delivery time must not exceed 20 weeks from the date of contract signature.
