Description

Donegal County Council is commencing the preparation of the Six Strategic Towns Local Area Plan 2026 (covering the settlements of Carndonagh, Bridgend, An Clochan Liath (Dungloe), Killybegs, Donegal Town and Ballyshannon) and is seeking tenders from a suitably qualified consultancy with relevant expertise for the provision of an ecological consultancy report including related services: including production of a Natura Impact Report (NIR) and a revised NIR with respect to any relevant Proposed Material Alterations which may be made to the Draft Local Area Plan. The new Six Strategic Towns Local Area Plan will provide the statutory land use/development planning framework including policies, objectives and land use zonings for the Settlements of Carndonagh, Bridgend, An Clochan Liath (Dungloe), Killybegs, Donegal Town and Ballyshannon. For clarity: • The Six Strategic Towns Local Area Plan sits within the framework of/is subservient to the County Donegal Development Plan (CDP) 2024-2030. • Tender responses should provide a breakdown of costs to each project stage (e.g. Preparation of the NIR, revised NIR).
