Description
Donegal County Council intends to carry out an Outdoor Recreational Infrastructure Scheme (ORIS) along a 2.5km stretch of the existing R248 regional road to provide a 2.5m shared footpath for pedestrians and cyclists. Phase 1 covers 1.5km from Downings towards Carrigart, the proposed works are to be carried out in the townland of Ballyohagan, Carrigart, Co Donegal. The works will include the following: • provision of drainage improvements • provision of new 2.5m wide surfaced footpath • provision of safety fencing where required • all ancillary works including required by the project
