Description
The Ministry of Health (Ministry) is seeking proposals from qualified Proponents to assist in the design and pre-print production of annual reports and other feature reports by the Office of the Provincial Health Officer (OPHO). The Contractor(s) will be responsible for providing theme, concept and page layout appropriate for the subject matter of the reports, incorporating feedback and edits, and delivering completed files to support launch activities (e.g., report for professional printing, web PDF version of the report for web posting, an embargoed PDF file). Information about these reports and examples of previous reports by the OPHO, can be viewed at: www.health.gov.bc.ca/pho/reports.The Ministry may select up to two (2) Contractors to provide services on an as, if and when requested basis. The Ministry will determine how best to utilize the services and makes no guarantees as the minimum or maximum number of hours of work required of each Contractor to perform the services. The number of reports required by the OPHO varies from year to year. The length and complexity of the reports required also varies. These are essential services for publications, and require a specialized skill set. Services will be performed at the Contractor’s place of business. The initial term of the Contract is expected to be from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2026. At the discretion of the Ministry, the Contract may be extended for one additional two-year term.The approved budget for the initial term is $250,000, which may be shared between two 2 contracts.Services will be performed at the Contractor’s place of business.Preference may be given to Indigenous vendors and/or vendors who have experience incorporating and Indigenous lens.Further details as to the scope of this opportunity and the requirements can be found within this RFP.
