France - Deployment of a 5G scalable private mobile network at CEA Cadarache

Description

CEA Cadarache has several telecommunication networks for transporting information over the air: Professional Mobile Radio (PMR), LoRaWAN and WiMax. In order to meet the emerging needs of video surveillance, which involves data exchange via radio interface, and the desire to merge the above-mentioned networks into a single infrastructure, CEA Cadarache wishes to deploy a private mobile network based on 4G technology (with 5G core), upgradeable to 5G. The CEA expects the successful bidder to provide a turnkey solution (studies, supply, design, deployment and maintenance). The solution includes the installation of equipment on high points identified by CEA, as well as a redundant network core. The network will cover the entire site, including the edges. The contractor must configure the cellular network antennas to guarantee coverage without white zones. On-site throughput must be a minimum of 10 Mb/s in the uplink direction all around the center. Latency < 50ms is expected. Vertical aperture should allow for both ground and air broadcasting (maximum 55 meters from the ground).
