Delivery and installation of rental toilets

The City of Essen (the AG) intends to provide rental toilets for visitors to Essen's green spaces and parks. Specifically, the intention is to offer rental toilets in at least 14 parks in the Essen city area. There is also the option of equipping further parks with rental toilets.

- Installation, cleaning and associated services of mobile, connection-free toilet cubicles in at least 14 parks in the city of Essen
- Two portable toilets will be installed at each location, one standard toilet with an additional urinal and one barrier-free toilet (hereinafter referred to as a combination of portable toilets)
- Optional equipment of further parks with toilet combinations
- Further toilet combinations are always requested in writing by e-mail

- As good as new (undamaged and functionally intact)
- The portable toilet combination must present a uniform appearance

Standard toilet cubicle with additional urinal

- Connection-free installation (self-sufficient operation)
- Sturdy, vandal-resistant housing
- Minimum dimensions (W x L) 120 cm x 120 cm
- Tank volume of at least 250 l
- Holder for at least two toilet rolls
- WC seat
- Urinal
- Large wash hand basin with soap and paper towel dispenser
- Bright interior
- Locking latch with display free\/occupied

Toilet cubicle barrier-free\/disabled-accessible

- Connection-free installation (self-sufficient operation)
- Sturdy, vandalism-resistant housing
- Minimum dimensions (W x L) 150 cm x 150 cm
- Tank volume of at least 150 l
- Holder for at least two toilet rolls
- WC seat
- Grab rail \/ grab rails
- Hand sanitizer dispenser
- Bright interior
- Automatic door closer with free/occupied indicator

Maintenance, cleaning and replacement

- Twice-weekly cleaning, incl. professional disposal of waste water/faeces, maintenance and supply of the relevant consumables (service)
- In the event of significant contamination or vandalism damage, the Contractor shall ensure cleaning or replacement within two working days
- After conclusion of the contract, the Contractor shall inform the Client of a service telephone number via which it can be contacted from Monday to Friday (except on public holidays in NRW) between 08:00 and 16:00.

Housing

- The contractor agrees to the enclosure of the portable toilet combinations
- It must be possible to install the toilets next to each other in an enclosure with a door opening width of 240 cm. The total width of the portable toilet combination must not exceed 300 cm

Exemption from liability

- Exemption from liability against vandalism\/damage\/theft\/elemental damage without excess is included in the scope of cover
