Description

The Frankfurt am Main transport company is planning to reinforce the railroad embankment on the section between Nieder-Eschbach and Ober-Eschbach. The area is located in the middle of the field and can therefore only be reached via dirt tracks. A cable duct runs along the entire length of the tracks, which must be maintained. The embankment reinforcement on both sides should also have no impact on the neighboring mast foundations of the catenary system and contact signal systems. The aim is to construct the embankment reinforcement in such a way that the embankment does not have to be partially or completely dismantled. The plan is to completely dismantle the overhead contact line system. Following the embankment reinforcement, the entire section of track (Urseler Weg level crossing to A5 highway bridge) will be renewed.
