Description
A Jordanian Data Centre is seeking to partner with UK leading educational institutions and training providers to deliver in-person programmes in their academy.
This initiative aims to up-skill youth and professionals across various technology sectors. The programmes should be vocationally based and include high-quality, certified courses for beginners, intermediate, and advanced level students. Providers must ensure that the training is recognised for its quality and effectiveness in preparing participants for the demands of the technology industry.
The supplier must be able to provide certified skills training programmes, covering:
• cybersecurity and data protection: addressing the shortage of skilled cybersecurity professionals
• cloud computing and infrastructure management: meeting the increasing demand for cloud experts
• software engineering and AI development: developing proficiency in coding, AI, and machine learning
• data centre operations and network management: ensuring workforce readiness for data centre and telecom operations
• entrepreneurship and business innovation: fostering innovative thinking and business acumen
Training programmes offered should include a range of levels:
• technical certifications (Level 1 to 4 or beginner, intermediate, and advanced)
• undergraduate-level courses
• specialised professional certifications
The training programmes will be of variable length according to the subject requirements:
• short courses: 1 to 8 weeks
• intermediate training: 3 to 6 months
• advanced programmes: 6 to 12 months
The client is open to considering various delivery models, including:
• supply-only training solutions: providers deliver training under the academy’s framework
• joint ventures: collaborations with industry players for skill-building initiatives
• strategic partnerships: co-branded programmes and long-term collaborations
Student cohorts will vary depending on demand. The academy can accommodate up to 20 students per session and can offer multiple sessions.
The academy plans to run training on a rolling basis, with multiple intakes annually. The client aims to train 100 students in the first year (2025 to 2026).
Assessment and evaluation:
The training programmes should include robust assessment and evaluation mechanisms to ensure the effectiveness of the training and the achievement of learning outcomes.
Customisation options:
While off-the-shelf solutions are preferred, providers should also offer customisation options to tailor the training programmes to the specific needs of the academy and its students.
Technology integration:
The training programmes should leverage the latest technology and tools to enhance the learning experience, including virtual labs, simulation tools, and online learning platforms.
Sustainability and scalability:
Providers should outline how their training programmes can be sustained and scaled over time to meet the evolving needs of the academy and the industry.
To be considered for this opportunity, successful applicants must have:
• an active Companies House record
• an annual turnover of at least £500,000
In the application, applicants should provide a description of their training programmes and able to demonstrate examples of successful case studies in overseas markets.
