Description

The 9th Contracting Squadron is soliciting a proposal for repair by replacement of two separate standby diesel generator systems. The Contract Line Item (CLN) for bid are identified as:

CLIN 0001 Project Number BAEY 240021 is located at Facility B810.
CLIN 0002 Project Number BAEY 240022 is located at Facility B845.
CLIN 0003 Fuel (Option)

The Contractor shall provide a work plan for a complete and usable system within the negotiated and accepted contract construction cost and meeting all requirements of this statement of work.  The government will not accept requests for additional funds unless approved in writing by the Contract Officer.
The work shall include removal and disposal of the existing standby diesel generator system Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS).  The Contractor shall install a new Cummins 20kW generator system, complete with fuel tank, a Cummins Diesel compatible Bypass ATS, and specified appurtenances in accordance with (IAW) UFC 3-540-01, NFPA 70, and NFPA 110 and applicable references Specified in UFC 3-540-01.  Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, tools, equipment, materials, operations, and incidentals required.  Contractor shall perform all necessary connections to the generator and bypass ATS so that they are fully operational in accordance with all current NFPAs, DAFMANs, UFCs, State and local codes and regulations.

Magnitude: $500,000 and $1M.
Site Visit: No site Visit is intended but one can be conducted upon request.
*Site Visit is optional/Not mandatory. An Offeror does not need to attend the site visit in order to provide a proposal*
RFI Deadline: 19 September 2024, 1:00PM PST 
Proposal Deadline: 23 Septmeber 2024, 4:00PM PDT
Proposal must be valid until 31 Decmeber 2024. 
24 July 24, Amendment 0001:
The purpose of this amendment is to incorporate additional work into the Statement of Need, and to upload further supporting documentation. The following changes are hereby incorporated into solicitation FA468624R0025:
1. Statement of Need (Attachment 1) now describes additional request (Page 4) to raise the existing concrete pads located at B845.
2. Site Plan now includes dimensions for B845 (Page 4).
3. RFI responses provided as Attachment 7.
4. Supporting pictures of B845 uploaded, listed as Attachment 8.
All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
26 July 24, Amendment 0002
The purpose of this amendment is to answer additional RFIs concerning fuel, and to extend the deadline for proposals. The following changes are hereby incorporated into solicitation FA468624R0025:
1. RFI #'s 15 - 18, and their respective answers added onto Attachment 7.
2. Option CLIN 0003 for 500 gallons of fuel added.
3. Added Clause 52.217-7 Option for Increased Quantity-Separately Priced Line Item.
All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
12 September 2024, Amendment 0003
The purpose of this amendment is to:
1) Extend proposal due date by 60 calendar days, from 26 July 2024 to 23 September 2024. Proposals must be valid until 31 December 2024.
2) Add Clause FAR 52.232-18
3) Update Contract Specialist and Contracting Officer information.
