Description
City of Prince George (the “City) is seeking proposals from qualified information technology consultants for the migration of documents from eDocs to SharePoint. The City is looking to move its current document management system to MS SharePoint. The current document management system (OpenText eDocs) has over 750,000 documents and consumes over 1.45 terabytes of on-premise disk space. The City currently has its intranet hosted on Sharepoint. The City receives approximately 130 Freedom of Information (FOI) Requests per year, and these requests are showing year to year increases. FOI requests consume significant resources to search and consolidate related documents across multiple disparate systems. The City is interested in utilizing Microsoft Purview for improving the time and effort to complete, and the accuracy of results, for FOI requests. The City is interested in implementing records management, updating its document management structure / hierarchy, migrating relevant OpenText eDoc documents to MS SharePoint, and is seeking tools and/or processes to mitigate the significant effort to identify, classify, import and complete FOI searches.
