Description

The works contemplated in this maintenance contract are mainly aimed at providing a better standard of service to users in terms of safety, comfort, accessibility and functionality.
In summary, the following items are considered:
- Removal and reinstallation of the pool umbrella, due to structural damage to the current pillars, replacement of all hardware and restoration of all wood decking.
- Improve Universal Accessibility AU in some cases with ramps and furniture.
- Preserve the saltwater pool by improving access and raising the pavements for use at high tide, cleaning the bottom, cleaning the sand and building a sand containment wall.
- The finished floor levels of the lower platforms are raised 15 cm. in order to avoid flooding at high tide.
- Restoration of damaged pavements by means of a 5-centimeter veneer, anchored by means of dowels to the existing pavement and the use of ACMA mesh.
- Repair of verteolous walls, in some cases the entire crown must be demolished, the type of restoration will depend on the location of the wall in the promenade, not all the walls are restored, only those that present damage.
- Construction of walls to contain sand in the swimming pool sector and transformation of walls in walls verteolas sector curved bridge.
- Cleaning and repair of the steps and stairs, maintaining the existing texture and materiality. Incorporation of handrails in those that do not have them.
- Removal and sealing of lighting fixtures in stairways and filling of these, maintaining the texture and materiality.
- Removal of unused lighting fixtures and installation of 2 poles with lighting fixtures in the esplanade area of the beach.
- Reinforcing of the protective rockwork in areas of overtopping and areas where the waves hit the walls directly.
- Restoration, replacement, and reinforcement of the ironwork on the umbrellas, as well as conservation of the deck wood.
- Cleaning and sealing of pavements that are in a good state of conservation.
- Replacement of missing tiles on the upper slope wall of the promenade.
