CALL FOR TENDERS NUMBER 2024-06
CONNECTION OF NEW WELL P2/2021
IT IS HEREBY GIVEN BY THE UNDERSIGNED, CLERK AND ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER, THAT :
The City of Rivière-Rouge wishes to obtain bids for the connection of the new P2/2021 well to the existing municipal network. The project includes work on the aqueduct network, process mechanics for the well chamber and electrical connections, all of which must comply with the requirements and specifications set out in the tender documents.
Persons or companies interested in this contract must obtain the tender documents by contacting the Electronic Tendering System (SEAO) at the following address: http://www.seao.ca. The documents will be available according to the terms and costs established by SEAO on August 21, 2024.
To be valid, bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in the tender documents and must include one original only. All bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked "Tender 2024-06 - Connection of new well P2/2021".
A bid security representing at least ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid with taxes issued in one of the following forms must be provided, which must comply with the specifications of the call for tenders documents:
1) a certified cheque, money order or bank draft; or
2) a surety bond; or
3) an irrevocable letter of guarantee
Only bids received at Rivière-Rouge Town Hall, located at 25, rue L'Annonciation Sud, Rivière-Rouge (Québec) J0T 1T0, no later than 11 a.m. on September 19, 2024 will be considered. Tenders received will be publicly opened the same day, in the presence of at least two (2) witnesses, at the council chambers located at 25, rue L'Annonciation Sud in Rivière-Rouge at 11:05 a.m. The deadline for receipt of complaints under section 21.0.4 of the Act respecting contracting by public bodies is September 5, 2024.
The City of Rivière-Rouge does not undertake to accept the lowest or any of the bids received, and is under no obligation to any bidder.
