Dinosaur Provincial Park is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site in southeast Alberta near Brooks, which draws visitors from across the province, the country and around the world. As well as camping opportunities, visitors enjoy can enjoy the trails, the Visitor Centre and special tours into the Natural Preserve area of the park to see dinosaur fossils and the unique landscape. A vital facility in Dinosaur Provincial Park is the newly renovated building which houses the Cretaceous Café and retail space, as well as visitor amenities (campground registration, showers, laundromat). It serves as a social hub for the park where people can connect and recharge as they explore the Badlands.
Alberta Parks is seeking Proposals from businesses or organizations with demonstrated experience to operate and maintain the Cretaceous Café and Retail space at Dinosaur Provincial Park. The Operator will provide a quality visitor experience that will complement the caliber of the newly renovated facilities and is suitable for this international destination site. In addition to offering healthy and popular café food and healthy option, the Operator will also sell snacks, camping groceries and sundry items visitors may need.
