Description
From March 1, 2025, the management of the canteen in the Federal Labor Court is to be guaranteed for a period of 6 years (4 years basic term and 1 year extension option in each case).
The management of the canteen includes the provision of lunchtime meals at the Federal Labor Court. The concessionaire is to deliver the lunchtime meals to the Federal Labor Court and prepare them in the preparation kitchen. The food is served by the concessionaire's staff, and the number of lunch guests can currently be expected to be around 100, around half of whom are external guests (federal and state employees). The number is subject to major fluctuations in some cases, as groups of visitors may also be catered for on meeting days in addition to the employees of the Federal Labor Court.
Due to the lack of procedural regulations for the award of concessions in the sub-threshold area under public procurement law, the planned award is to be based on the regulations for negotiated awards without a call for competition (see Section 12 (2) UVgO).
Interested companies that consider themselves capable of taking over the canteen operation are invited to register by e-mail (Verwaltung@bundesarbeitsgericht.de) by 17.10.2024. The interested companies should declare with their registration that they have the necessary suitability (see below) and the necessary capacities.
The invitation to tender will be sent to all interested companies in October 2024.

- Proof of public liability insurance covering at least the following
coverage amounts:
If the insurance cover does not correspond to the stated values, proof of current liability insurance must be enclosed with a self-declaration that the scope of insurance will be adjusted to the stated values if the contract is awarded.
