Description

Municipal elections are held every four years in Alberta to elect the offices of mayor and eight city councilors in accordance with the Municipal Government Act (MGA). Under contract, The City also contracted to conduct the election for the public and catholic school board trustees. The City is responsible to host and organize a municipal election following guidelines as set out in the Local Authorities Election Act (LAEA). The City will also host and coordinate voting for a provincial Senate election, as well as a referendum vote.

The successful proponent will be expected to deliver the following by December 1, 2024:

1. Branding Campaign that includes digital and print assets, including but not limited to:

Digital ads (social media and website advertising)
Print ads
Radio ads
Webpage or microsite
Election signage (i.e. vote here)
Billboards
Election Day collateral, such as “I voted” stickers, pins, photo booths, etc.
(NOTE: We'd like these to have longevity and for the look/feel to last for 3 election cycles)

2. Raw design files

3. Implementation Launch Plan (a road map suggesting when to launch specific elements of the campaign, to be executed as part of a strategic internal or external communications plan by Community & Public Relations)
