Description
The City of Calgary requires a qualified Architectural Coordinating Registered Professional for the design and construction administration of the Spring Gardens Operational Workplace Centre. A single integrated project team will be selected to provide all services from pre-design validation to post construction, delivering the envisioned project as outlined in this RFP.
The Spring Gardens Operations Workspace Centre is a major industrial storage and operations facility located at 32 Avenue NE, West of Deerfoot Trail. It serves as a base from which numerous service lines provide a range of civic services. The scope for this project includes renovating two existing buildings that will house administrative staff, building new structures for storage of vehicles, salt and pickle exterior storage, parking, and yard storage space. The detailed project scope has been defined in the Appendix B of the RFP.
To be considered for this project, the Consultant must be registered with the Alberta Association of Architects (and associated APEGA and AALA registrations as required for appropriate team members) at the time of the award.
Unless otherwise stated in the Agreement Letter, the award under this RFP will be for all Phases of the Requirements, subject to approval by The City after each Phase.
