Description

The City requires a qualified engineering firm for engineering services to support the planning, design and construction of the South Calgary Water Servicing (SCWS) feedermain project.
Due to existing infrastructure limitations and a growing population/water demands, new major infrastructure is needed to convey water directly to the south zones of Calgary, from the existing Bearspaw Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and the New Water Treatment Plant. The project involves alignment review of approximately 25 km of large diameter water feedermain, energy recovery facility, and tie-in to the existing conveyance system within the pressure zones.
This project anticipates the following Phases:
Phase 1 – Conceptual Design
Phase 2 – Preliminary Design
Phase 3 – Detailed Design and Construction Procurement
Phase 4 – Contract Administration and Field Services
