Description
A Chinese company is looking for opportunities to import British food and drink products. It is now seeking good quality, reasonably priced British wafer biscuits.
It would like to be provided with a product catalogue with prices, images and product descriptions in Chinese. Interested British providers are expected to have existing agents in China or have the capability to find agents in China.
The Wuhan-based business:
- is a top 20 retail company
- is a public listed company
- owns a variety of retail stores including joint-ventured convenience stores, supermarkets and hypermarkets
- operates more than 130 hypermarkets in Hubei province, making it the largest-scale modern hypermarket chain in mid-west China
- has set up 26 direct selling department stores for imported goods in Hubei province in response to the growing consumption capability of the 30 million people that make up the local population
