Description

BC Transit, in partnership with the Fraser Valley Regional District (FVRD) and the City of Chilliwack, is seeking proposals to develop a 25-year Chilliwack Facility Master Plan (FMP) following a recent acquisition of two properties at 4109 & 44137 Progress Way which includes an existing building that is suitable to adapt into a functional Transit Operating and Maintenance (O&M) Facility. The FMP will focus on the long-term investment strategies to meet the transit facility bus storage and maintenance capacity requirements but also consider the short-term investments needed to bring a newly acquired facility into service. The study is needed to develop design concepts, cost estimates and phasing strategies to secure both internal BC Transit and local government support for an investment strategy to invest in the transit facility and to provide inputs for future business cases and to support provincial and federal funding applications. Interested Parties should submit a proposal by visiting: Chilliwack Facility Master Plan (bonfirehub.ca)
