Description
The Children's Health Insurance Program provides free, low-cost, and full-cost healthcare coverage to uninsured children and teens up to age 19 who are not eligible for or enrolled in Medicaid, known as Medical Assistance (“MA”) in Pennsylvania. CHIP is available to families whose income is above the established minimum federal poverty level (“FPL”) for CHIP. CHIP operates statewide requiring that a selected applicant provide for the CHIP services required under the RFA and the final CHIP-MCO Agreement in the entire CHIP geographic service area for which it applies and is selected.
