The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, intends to issue a sole source contract for the procurement of two (2) each of the following items: DIGITAL TORQUE MULTIPLIER ASSEMBLY, 2000 LBS (PN: ATP2007), DIGITAL TORQUE MULTIPLIER ASSEMBLY 5000 ft. lbs. (PN: ATP5013), DIGITAL TORQUE MULTIPLIER ASSEMBLY (PN: ATP1008) and ATPMN 1200, AN ATP 12000 SERIES DIGITIAL TORQUE MULTIPLIER ASSEMBLY, in support of the H-53K Program. The anticipated award will be made to Advanced Torque Products, located in Newington, CT. Advance Torque Products was contracted by SAC (OEM) to design and develop the above Support Equipment to fulfill the maintenance requirements. Advance Torque Products hold all data and drawing rights to manufacture these items. NAVAIR intends to procure under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
