Description

South Dublin County Council’s Environment, Water and Climate Change Department provides a range of recreational facilities, including Artificial Grass Pitches and Pavilions (serving as team changing rooms, referee rooms, and storage spaces) at various park locations across the County. South Dublin County Council is seeking a reliable supplier to provide a comprehensive system for managing bookings and processing payments. This system must provide an online resource booking system that integrates with ACT365 access control systems to ensure secure access management. The system should facilitate secure payment processing, currently managed through the Global payments system, which has processed approximately 2,000 transactions since the beginning of 2024. Currently, the system supports around 250 active users, with over 1,000 bookings made this season alone. Currently we operate 2 separate portals: One operates our grass pitch applications and annual allocations. While the other operates solely as a booking platform for pavilions, artificial grass pitches and tennis courts. Currently, there are 2 pavilions, 2 artificial grass pitches and 3 tennis courts equipped with 15 ACT365 locks. We are expanding our pavilion programme, aiming to introduce 10 new locations across the county. At present, we have 2 Artificial Grass pitches, with plans to develop an additional 3. The system must be capable of adding the new facilities.
