This PROJECT IS A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL and includes ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION.PROJECT TITLE: Capitol Complex - Fire Alarm System Replacement.ESTIMATED RANGE: .4 Electrical – $8,000,000 - $9,000,000LIQUIDATED DAMAGES = (.4) $4,000.00 per day.There is no Bid Guaranty required for this Project.DATE FOR RECEIVING PROPOSALS IS TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 26, 2024, AT 2:00 P.M.A PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE has been scheduled for Friday, November 1, 2024, at 1:00 P.M., at the Forum Building, 3rd Floor, Cherry Springs Conference Room (Room 303), 500 Walnut Street, Harrisburg, PA 17120.  All potential proposers are invited and urged to attend this Pre-Proposal Conference. The Department of General Services Capital Programs and the Bureau of Diversity, Inclusion and Small Business Opportunities (BDISBO) identified this procurement as eligible for the setting of Small Diverse Business (SDB) and/or Veteran Business Enterprise (VBE) participation goals.  In addition, there will be no points allocated toward SDB/SB participation for this procurement.  This is a significant programmatic change from the SDB and SB Participation program contained in prior Projects issued by Capital Programs.  Proposers now must agree to meet the SDB and VBE Participation Goals in full or demonstrate that they have made Good Faith Efforts to meet the Goals.
