In a letter dated July 26, 2023, the French Minister for the Environment authorized the Prefect of Bouches du Rhône to commission ADEME to carry out safety work on the Plaine landfill site in Ensuès-La-Redonne (13), and to monitor seawater quality and locate any underwater outlets in the Everine cove over a 2-year period.
