Call for tenders - City of Lachute
Biological control of biting insects for the year 2024
The Ville de Lachute wishes to receive bids for the study and control of mosquito larvae using biological larvicide, for the entire period during which these insects are active.
The documents required to prepare bids will be available as of Friday, October 13, 2023, solely through the electronic tendering system (SEAO), by contacting a representative by telephone at 1 866 669-7326 or 514 856-6600, or by consulting the website www.seao.ca. Documents may be obtained at a cost established by SEAO.
To be considered, the bid must be valid for a period of sixty (60) days following the deadline for receipt of bids. The bid must be accompanied by a bid and performance bond in the form of a certified cheque, money order or bank draft, drawn on a Financial Institution and cashable in Quebec on demand, or a bid bond issued by a Financial Institution in favour of the City of Lachute, in an amount equivalent to ten percent (10%) of the total bid before taxes.
In the event that the bid and performance bond is not in the form of a certified cheque, money order or bank draft, the bid must also be accompanied by a letter of undertaking for the performance bond in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the total bid before taxes.
Tenders (one (1) original and two (2) copies, submitted in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in the specifications) will be received at the reception desk of Lachute City Hall at 380, rue Principale, Lachute, QC J8H 1Y2, until 11 a.m. (City Hall lobby time) on Thursday, November 2, 2023, to be publicly opened immediately following the deadline for receipt of tenders.
