Description

There are 37 Hearing and Speech Nova Scotia sites across the province, creating a unique and comprehensive service delivery system. Most centers are in local hospitals and provide Hearing and Speech services to all Nova Scotians. These devices will be available for all HSNS clients (or staff) who may need them, whether they wear hearing aids or similar devices or not. They will help clients with a wide variety of hearing or sound/language processing difficulties by making speech louder and clearer, thereby allowing them to spend less effort trying to hear. This project will help HSNS improve accessibility at its sites across the province, in line with Nova Scotia’s Access by Design 2030 which is part of the Nova Scotia Accessibility act designed to improve accessibility in Nova Scotia by 2030.
