Description

Existing curve flattening with superstructure renewal on the St 2247, west and east of Wettringen (zip code 91631). The measure is divided into two construction phases. The western construction section BA01, which includes the elimination of the accident blackspot along the gypsum quarry by means of the construction of a curve flattening (new construction section) and a superstructure renewal using the raised paving method with adaptation of the curve radii according to RAL and the road width of 6.50 m (RQ 9.5) to the existing road. The construction measure begins at section 100, station 1.080. At this point, a transition to the existing superstructure renewal from 2023 will be created. The construction measure ends at section
100, station 2.880 at the entrance to Wettringen, where a new left-turn lane for the industrial estate will also be built in this area at section 100, station ~ 2.690 - 2.780. A combined footpath and cycle path with agricultural use is to run parallel to the state road 2247 in a southerly direction. This offers farmers the opportunity to access the fields and connects the villages of Leitsweiler and Wettringen by integrating existing farm tracks in the municipality of Schnelldorf. The combined footpath and cycle path will be built under a special construction contract with the municipality of Wettringen. The eastern construction section BA02
begins at section 120, station 0.670 at the entrance to Wettringen. The superstructure renewal with adjustment of the road width to 6.50 m (RQ 9.5) and the curve flattening in the area of the sports field is approx. 1.007 km long and runs to section 120, station 1.677. In addition, a left-turn lane is to be planned for safe entry into the sports field. Existing expansion with curve flattening (BA 01 and BA 02) to a new carriageway width of 6.50 m (RQ 9.5), with new alignments in places in accordance with RAL. Parallel and stepped cycle path, with a width of 3.00 m, which is also available for agricultural use (only in BA 01). The combined cycle path begins on the existing section of the old St 2247 in the area of the bend around the gypsum quarry and connects to the Hardfeld municipal road in Wettringen. At the entrance to Wettringen, a left-turn lane is planned for the southern connection to the Hardfeld road and the industrial estate. Improved visibility is to be created at the level of the sports field (BA 02). A left-turn lane to the sports field is to be incorporated into the new alignment. The client will provide the contractors with a CDE program for digital data exchange and other documentation and tasks for the entire execution period (work phases 1-8). An introduction to the program and the necessary accounts will be provided in good time. In the part of the contract award for work phase 8, special services, only the site management is commissioned. Local construction supervision is carried out by the client (Ansbach State Building Authority). All documents (measurements, delivery bills, etc.) required for invoice verification (partial invoices and final invoice) shall be made available to the contractor by the client for further processing.
