Due to increasing digitization, ZDF's production workflows are mapped in file-based processes.
To this end, the systems process, manage and transfer LowRes, HiRes and UHD material as well as metadata associated with the programs and contributions.
ZDF uses several different systems and services to implement and support this file-based production process.
