This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition is for Military Altitrack Altimeters for the 106th Rescue Wing of the New York Air National Guard, F.S. Gabreski ANG, Westhampton Beach, NY 11978. This is a 100% Small Business set-aside. The applicable NAICS code for this acquisition is 334511 and the size standard is 1250 employees. Solicitation number W912PQ-19-Q-9017 is being issued as a request for quote and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-03, effective 12 Jul 2019. Firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) before an award can be made. To register with SAM, log on to https://www.sam.gov.
This Request for Quote will result in a firm fixed price contract. This announcement is the solicitation which will result in a firm fixed-price contract. Contract will be awarded to the contractor whom provides a quote that conforms to the terms and conditions of this combined synopsis / solicitation and meets all the requirements that is outlined and is determined responsible IAW FAR Subpart 9.104-1.
CLIN 0001: 25 EACH OF CPS-172-417 MILITARY ALTITRACK ALTIMETER
The altimeter should include a hand mount and include the following features:
- 45 degree offset scale for easy line of sight
- Adjustable electro-luminescent backlight, NVG compatible
- Automatic calibration to local elevation
- Control buttons for LZ offset and backlight adjustment
- Scratch proof lens of high impact glass
- Shockproof and waterproof (6ft/24 hrs)
- Operational altitude range of to 40,000 FT
- Temperature range -31 degrees F to 186 degrees F. Will operate at -51 degrees F for 10 minutes
- No pressure chamber testing required
- Replaceable battery cover with air filter
- Uses long lasting ½ AA lithium battery
