Public notice is hereby given that the ORGANISME PUBLIC wishes to issue a call for tenders relating to the acquisition and fitting out of modular classrooms at École de l'Aubier (001), 250 chemin Saint-Stanislas, Saint-Lin-Laurentides, J5M 2H2.
INFORMATION
As of August 15, 2024, any person or company will be able to obtain tender documents from the "Système électronique d'appel d'offres" (SEAO) website. The price list can be found under "Customer service". Tender documents can only be obtained through the SEAO.
APPLICABLE INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENTS
This invitation to tender is subject to the following intergovernmental agreements:
- TRADE AND COOPERATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN QUEBEC AND ONTARIO;
- CANADIAN FREE TRADE AGREEMENT;
- CANADA-EUROPEAN UNION COMPREHENSIVE ECONOMIC AND TRADE AGREEMENT;
SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The work to be performed hereunder includes but is not limited to:
- Supply, installation and fitting out of modular classrooms,
- Construction of a corridor linking the existing school to the modular classrooms,
- Replacement of the intercom system in the existing school,
- Relocation of the play module to the courtyard.

CLOSING, RECEIPT AND OPENING OF BIDS
To be valid and considered, bids (one (1) original with no copies) must be placed in a sealed envelope marked "Tender for the Acquisition and Installation of Modular Classrooms at École de l'Aubier (001)" and must be received at 8, rue Monseigneur Lafortune, Saint-Paul (Québec) J6E 6G7 (Atelier SRM), no later than September 16, 2024 at 10:00:00 a.m., local time, to be publicly opened at the same place, on the same day, at the same time. Any bid received after this time will be automatically rejected.
L'ORGANISME PUBLIC does not undertake to accept any of the bids received under this call for tenders.
Bids may also be submitted electronically. In this case, they may only be submitted via the electronic tendering system.

INFORMATION MEETING AND SITE VISIT
An information meeting, including a site visit, is scheduled for August 27, 2024 at 10:00:00. This meeting is not mandatory. Bidders must present themselves at École de l'Aubier, 250 chemin Saint-Stanislas, Saint-Lin-Laurentides, J5M 2H2.
Bidders are invited to attend an information meeting, including a tour of the site, offered by the PUBLIC ORGANIZATION. Failure to attend may not be used as an excuse or pretext for errors, omissions or irregularities on the part of a bidder in the preparation of its bid. Each bidder is responsible for sending a representative to the meeting. Furthermore, the PUBLIC ORGANIZATION assumes no responsibility towards bidders who fail to attend an information meeting, including a site visit, with regard to information that may have been given at the meeting.
BID SECURITY
The bidder must submit with its bid a bid security equivalent to TEN PERCENT (10%) of the total price proposed in its bid. This bid security must be provided in one of the following forms:
a) a bond;
b) an irrevocable letter of guarantee issued in favour of the PUBLIC ORGANIZATION by a financial institution.
OFFICE CLOSURE
If, due to exceptional circumstances, the PUBLIC ORGANIZATION has to close its offices on the day indicated for the site visit and/or for the receipt of bids, this date will be postponed to the next working day, at the same place and time.
This notice of invitation to tender represents an overview of certain conditions set out in the tender documents, of which it forms an integral part. Tenderers must read all tender documents.
