Conduct an acoustic study of the Atrium and Auditorium of B1000, Offutt AFB NE and provide a final documented report of the study’s findings to the government. The study will be used to determine the affect of replacing the current carpet with terrazzo flooring. The study should include mitigation proposals for reducing noise in the spaces if the carpet is replaced by terrazzo.
Project includes, but not limited to the following work elements. The contractor shall conduct a study of the atrium and auditorium with two different flooring types: existing carpet and proposed terrazzo flooring. The study should include mitigation techniques that can be used in the auditorium when using the existing audio system. The Atrium study should include mitigation techniques that can be used with the proposed audio upgrade design. The Government will provide both the current drawings of the atrium and auditorium as well as the proposed atrium audio upgrade design.
