Description
The City of Nanaimo invites qualified Proponents to submit a Proposal for the Supply and Delivery of Firefighter Thermal Jackets on an if and when requested basis.The Firefighter Thermal Jacket is intended for emergency situations where full structural firefighting gear is not necessary. It can be worn on its own or layered under the Firefighter Duty Jacket. The Firefighter Thermal Jacket is meant for use during station work, community outreach, light training, and when firefighters are on call but not actively engaged in firefighting. The Firefighter Thermal Jacket must be compatible with the Firefighter Duty Jacket and aims to provide a balance of functionality, comfort, and durability. See section 5 for more details.
