Description
NOTICEThis Notice of Planned Procurement informs potential respondents that the City of Nanaimo intends to issue a Request for Pre-Qualification June 2025, to provide Upfitting for Municipal Vehicles. If an interested Respondent would like an opportunity to submit a proposal for evaluation to be considered for inclusion on the Pre-Qualification List before the annual intake date. In that case, they are encouraged to contact the City at Procurement@nanaimo.ca, and the City will issue an RFPQ to onboard the Respondent. Respondents may request inclusion on the multi-use list at any time. REQUIREMENT DESCRIPTION: The City is seeking Qualified Suppliers with experience providing professional upfitting for light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles, including cab and chassis, for various wheelbases, on an as, if and when requested basis. In order to meet the upfitting needs of the City, the Supplier will have sufficient staff, equipment suppliers, and workspace to perform the upfitting requirements. Suppliers already on the Prequalification list do not need to reapply.
