35/24 VG-UeWa-PöPlanning a cycle path between Wahrenbrück and WinkelThe town of Uebigau-Wahrenbrück, represented by the municipality of Liebenwerda, is planning to build a shared cycle path between the town of Wahrenbrück and the district of Winkel. Planning services are required for this. There is currently a 900 m long unpaved section on the field path between the towns of Wahrenbrück and Winkel. The path is currently used as a shortcut to the daycare center in Wahrenbrück. It is primarily used for agriculture and forestry and the intention is to create a paved cycle path link between the two villages. As the route is also used by cycle tourists, it can be assumed that it will be used by cargo bikes and bicycle trailers, which means that a wider and higher quality surface pavement is to be created. If there are options for reducing individual motorized shortcut traffic, these should be identified. Agricultural traffic cannot be restricted.
