Description
The Maine Army National Guard (MEARNG) 240th Regiment, Regional Training Institute (RTI) has a requirement for Laundry Service for one year plus two option years. The Contractor shall adhere to all requirements in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. (PWS)
North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code: 812320 – Drycleaning and Laundry Service, with a small business size standard of $8 Million is applicable to this requirement, with the Product Service Code: S209 – Housekeeping – Laundry/Drycleaning.
This Request for Quote (RFQ) is being solicited with100% small business set-aside.
Period of Performance: One Year (base) plus two years (options)
Base Year: January 2, 2025 – December 31, 2025
Option year 1: January 2, 2026 – December 31, 2026
Option year 2: January 2, 2027 – December 31, 2027
Location: 240th Regional Training Institute (RTI), 289 Hildreth Street, Building 700, Bangor, Maine 04401
This Solicitation is in accordance with FAR part 12 and 13. All responsible Source(s) solicitated may submit a quote that shall be considered. Interested parties may identify their interests and capabilities to respond to this requirement or submit a quote.
The Government will evaluate each offer based on Technical, Past Performance and Price. The Contractor must be found to be acceptable based on the factors listed in clause 52.212-2 – Evaluation of Commercial Items in the solicitation.
All RFQ and its amendments will be posted to www.sam.gov. Contractors are cautioned to check the website periodically for the solicitation and any amendments. Solicitation mailing lists will NOT be compiled and the RFQ and amendments will not be sent out in paper copy.
All documentation can and must be downloaded from the website above. Firms interested in submitting offers must be currently registered in the System for Award Management, complete the entire solicitation document to include representations and certifications, provisions, and clauses, provide all product technical specification documentation and technical compliance certifications, to be eligible for contract award.
Offerors must have a current, active registration in System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award. Register or check status/expiration date of your registration at http://www.sam.gov. If you are not registered, or if your registration expires within the 60 calendar days, start the process of updating your registration now as it may take up to 12-15 business days after you submit before your registration is active in SAM. The Government intends to evaluate offers and award a contract without discussions with offerors. Therefore, the
offeror's initial offer should contain the offeror's best terms from a price and technical standpoint. However, the Government reserves the right to conduct discussions if later determined by the Contracting Officer to be necessary. The Government may reject any or all offers if such action is in the public interest; accept other than the lowest offer; and waive informalities and minor irregularities in offers received.
Faxed offers or amendments will not be accepted. All dates are subject to change without notice.
Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of offers may render vendor offer non-responsive and result in rejection of the same.
