Description
The Corporation is seeking to conduct an assessment of air emissions and emission control technologies in primary, secondary, and tertiary Wood Product Manufacturing (WPM) facilities within the Metro Vancouver region (the “Services”). The successful proponent will compile and analyze data from a variety of sources into a comprehensive report.The purpose of the Services is to quantify emissions of health-harming air contaminants (HHAC) from WPM facilities, evaluate the effectiveness of existing and emerging emission control technologies, review bylaws, regulations, permits, and air emission authorizations from similar jurisdictions, and explore policy options for managing HHAC tailored to the specific challenges of the WPM industry in the Metro Vancouver region. There is an optional task to quantify greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from WPM facilities in the Metro Vancouver region.The purpose of this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is for the Corporation to enter into a consulting services agreement (an “Agreement”) with the successful proponent for the Services.
